Modern Slavery Policy

Introduction

This statement is published in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (Transparency in Supply Chains) Regulation 2015 (the “Act”). It outlines the steps taken by Invitise Ltd to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business operations and supply chain.

Invitise Ltd fully supports the Government’s objectives to eradicate modern slavery and human trafficking and acknowledges our responsibility in combatting these issues. As a recruitment agency, we recognise our role in ensuring ethical labour practices and preventing exploitation in the sectors we serve. We are committed to ensuring that our supply chains and business operations are free from any form of modern slavery or human trafficking.

Our Commitment

We acknowledge the risks associated with modern slavery within the recruitment industry, particularly in temporary and contract work. Our approach focuses on due diligence, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement to uphold ethical recruitment standards.
Steps taken to date include:

1. Ethical Employment Practices

We promote a fair, open, and respectful workplace environment that safeguards the rights and dignity of all employees, temporary workers, and contractors.

All individuals engaged by Invitise Ltd undergo identity verification and right-to-work checks in compliance with UK legislation.

We ensure that all workers we place are paid fairly, including meeting or exceeding the National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements.

We uphold robust people policies, employment contracts, and codes of conduct that align with ethical labour practices.

2. Awareness and Training

We provide training to staff involved in recruitment, procurement, and compliance to enhance their ability to recognise and respond to potential modern slavery risks.

Our communication channels, including social media and internal briefings, raise awareness about modern slavery and human trafficking.
Employees are encouraged to report concerns through our “Respect at Work,” “Grievance,” and “Voicing Your Concerns” policies.

3. Whistleblowing and Reporting Mechanisms

Our whistleblowing policy ensures that employees, contractors, and partners can report concerns related to modern slavery and unethical practices without fear of retaliation.

Reports can be made confidentially to senior management, including the Managing Director.

4. Procurement and Supply Chain Due Diligence

Our supplier due diligence process includes modern slavery risk assessments to evaluate potential risks in our supply chain.

We require all suppliers and business partners to comply with relevant UK legislation, including modern slavery laws.

Specific terms and conditions in our procurement contracts mandate adherence to ethical labour standards and compliance with anti-slavery regulations.

Where suppliers or contractors are found to be in breach of this policy or the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, Invitise Ltd may suspend or terminate the business relationship. Serious breaches may also be reported to the relevant authorities.

5. Ongoing Review and Effectiveness Monitoring

We are committed to strengthening our approach to tackling modern slavery through continuous monitoring and assessment. In 2025/26, we will:
Enhance modern slavery risk assessments within our supply chain, particularly focusing on temporary, contract, and outsourced labour.

Provide additional training for recruiters and hiring managers on ethical recruitment practices and indicators of modern slavery.

Strengthen safeguarding policies to reflect evolving legal requirements and best practices related to modern slavery prevention.

Continue to assess our business activities and supply chain to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Conclusion

Invitise Ltd remains steadfast in its commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of its business and supply chain. We will continue to refine our policies, training, and due diligence processes to ensure that our operations reflect the highest ethical standards.

This statement is underpinned by Invitise Ltd’s internal Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy, which sets out detailed responsibilities, prohibited conduct, and reporting mechanisms for staff and suppliers. The two documents should be read together for a complete record of our approach.
